Media Factory Research 2010
Research collaboration activities include the support of projects born from the first year of operations as well as efforts to extend the media research networks in Aalto and to foster debate and joint development of new project proposals through Media Factory’s open call.
Two Research Tracks in 2009
In 2009 Media Factory coordinated two multi-disciplinary research tracks with researchers from all three Schools of the Aalto University. See more here: Enactive Social Media and Gaming and Doing Crossmedia (Technology, Production, Consumption)
Researchers’ Media-related Networks 2009-2010
Media Factory Researchers’ Forum is a networking tool that enables researchers and doctoral students in Aalto University to get acquainted with each others’ media-related research questions and methodological challenges. Some of its activities will work through new special interest groups and networks that discuss different thematic research practices. One example is the Digital Visuality Network.
