Our Mission

Aalto University Media Factory will contribute significantly to the global development of the field of media through its work in developing and seeding high quality international research, as well as through its contributions to the development of pioneering multi-disciplinary education in the field of media and by bravely overcoming barriers and instigating renewal in the field. Through its operations the Aalto University Media Factory contributes to the education of responsible, independent and broadly knowledgeable media experts who become visionaries within society.

AALTO UNIVERSITY FACTORIES

Media Factory, Service Factory, and Design Factory are platforms for multi-disciplinary collaboration combining the expertise of the different Aalto University schools in the fields of services, media and product development. The Factories are designed to facilitate new forms of collaboration in an environment where academic teams, researchers and students work together with companies and communities.
