Computational photography is a research area which combines computer graphics, imaging and photography (still and video) to extend the limits of performance of photography. The vision is that the fusion opens up so far unknown opportunities for the ways in which views of the world can be captured, represented, presented and interacted with for eg. artistic expression, visual
communication, gaming, journalism, marketing and advertising.
